... So, what do you do when the other two parts of you don't feel like being independent people? Do you let them? Shake them? Pout a lot and stomp your foot?
[Event Post]
::You can find Kitty, your favorite useless pile of curves, in a few locations.
A) Mulling about TOPS, probably in a cafe or so such.
B) She's probably at the site of a shrine, that seems to be getting renovated. She's probably wearing an outfit that's a Japanese Miko, while wearing the cloak of a Black Velvet occultist. Scribbling on a clipboard.
C) Playing with kids in the Park of Domino City. Putting on an educational show, but there's a few pulling at her skirt and trying to climb her arms. You can probably talk to her once it winds down.
D) Working at Carden of Eden, as she is an occasional stock girl and general judge for the kids there. Similarly you can talk to her as people shuffle out near the end of her shift::

Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-12 07:42 pm (UTC)*Once things wind down with the kids, Yuya comes over to her.*
Hey! Kitty! How're doing?

Date: 2025-03-13 07:39 pm (UTC)You can just call me 'Yuya', y'know.
I just saw you over here with those kids and thought I'd say hi! Looks like you had your hands full with them, but they seemed to be having fun!
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-13 08:01 pm (UTC)::Awkward chuckle.::
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-13 08:10 pm (UTC)Yeah, you kinda have to be comfortable with having very little personal space sometimes when working with or entertaining kids.
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-15 05:41 pm (UTC)::Deeply philosophical for the cute pile of curves.::
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-15 05:51 pm (UTC)Huh. I guess that's quite true.
Never really thought of that.
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-15 06:35 pm (UTC)::Deeply thinks about this as you hear the three to five braincells in her her head rattle together.::

Date: 2025-03-15 07:17 pm (UTC)I'll just say you-you. What have you, Kitty, been up too recently?

Date: 2025-03-16 06:08 pm (UTC)How's things been for you, Senpai?
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-16 06:24 pm (UTC)Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-16 06:53 pm (UTC)So I guess we're both just slowly moving along? I guess. That's. Good?
::Crossing her arms, wondering.::
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-16 08:03 pm (UTC)Yeah, I think it's good.
I tried really pushing myself and moving too fast with my dueling a few years ago and I kinda burned myself out, so I've been trying to pace myself better.
It might be slow progress, but it's still progress.

Date: 2025-03-16 09:22 pm (UTC)Ah, that sucks. Just in a bit of a rut?
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-16 09:29 pm (UTC)Mostly a funk, I guess?
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-16 09:41 pm (UTC)I think we all get like that every now and then, but if there's anything specific you want to talk or vent about, feel free.
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-17 06:02 pm (UTC)::Takes a deep breath.::
I dunno what I want out of life or what to do. I mean, entertaining kids is a goal but it doesn't feel like the be-all-end-all for me and.
I dunno. I feel empty.
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-17 07:15 pm (UTC)Well, you could always try something new!
Take up gardening, volunteer somewhere, write a blog, maybe take a course in something... anything that takes your interest!
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-17 07:34 pm (UTC)::Crosses her arms, wondering.::
This is a bit more existential?
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-17 08:04 pm (UTC)Ah, okay. I bit more complicated then.
*He rubs his head.*
I'm not really sure what to suggest. Go on a journey? Spend time in nature?
Hmmm.
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-17 08:59 pm (UTC)::Ponders.::
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-17 09:10 pm (UTC)I mean, I guess?
Can you like... take a career break or something from that?
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-17 09:18 pm (UTC)I'm not sure gods get career breaks...?
::Ponders.::
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-17 09:29 pm (UTC)I mean, I'd say nothing is ever impossible and even gods deserve a break now and then.
Maybe that's why you feel like this. Because you feel things are already spelled out for you, but you want to explore beyond it. Maybe find what makes you, well, you... outside of all that.
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-17 09:37 pm (UTC)But I don't wanna disappoint anyone?
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-17 09:47 pm (UTC)I think sometimes there's a point where you have to really consider what you want to do for yourself, especially if you're sacrificing your own happiness for others.
And it's not like you have to step away permanently from all that either. Maybe you can step away just for a little bit and see how things go?
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-17 09:59 pm (UTC)Have you ever dealt with anything like this, Yuya Senpai?
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-18 02:29 pm (UTC)Well, I can't say I've really experienced a strong feeling of a lack of purpose, but I guess... I dunno...
*He pauses for a moment.*
...it's a bit hard to admit, but I do struggle a bit with identity.
I think my brothers struggle with that in their own ways too. I guess being the 'shards' of one person in a previous life can kinda mess with your head a little, cos sometimes you wonder where that person ends and you begin.
But I try and remind myself that I am who I am now, and that's all that matters.
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-18 04:37 pm (UTC)Awkward.
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-18 05:10 pm (UTC)Ouch, yeah.
Well, we at least both got to change and grow beyond our 'intended uses' I guess. You as a clone made with the intention of killing and replacing your mom and me as a shard of someone who put steps into place to basically attempt to resurrect himself.
That's not who either of us are now.
Re: Event (C)
Date: 2025-03-20 06:06 pm (UTC)This sucks so much! I'm really bad at thinking!
